This scoring system aligns with those used by independent professional leagues, college summer leagues, professional fastpitch, and hundreds of high schools. Its design ensures ease of use for first-time scorekeepers while maintaining the rigor expected in professional environments.

The traditional paper scoring method, with over a century of proven reliability, serves as the foundation for Pointstreak Stats Baseball Pro. Enhancements incorporated into this software streamline the scoring process, reducing complexity and improving efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.

There is often a misconception that one must purchase major league or independent league rosters separately. In reality, Pointstreak Stats Baseball Pro integrates current rosters from major leagues and numerous independent pro leagues such as Golden and KBO. The import process is straightforward—simply select the league, and the rosters appear within seconds without any additional purchases.

For IBAF scorers, this platform offers a scoring standard closely aligned with IBAF regulations. Should there be sufficient demand, plans are in place to develop a fully IBAF-compliant version to meet official international scoring standards.

Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) members can install Pointstreak Stats Baseball Pro and link their credentials. Many division-specific teams and rosters are pre-entered, allowing for immediate use. Live game scoring is accessible via PressboxServices.com, enabling fans, parents, and alumni to follow the game in real-time, pitch by pitch, with the ability to review previous innings. Post-game, league standings, team statistics, and individual player data are automatically updated to provide comprehensive coverage.

Report generation is also supported. Once a game concludes, users can finalize scores, email reports, print scoresheets, export detailed play-by-play summaries with box scores, or import data into desktop databases or spreadsheets for further analysis.
